We had an enquiry regarding a recently discovered concrete floor in Nuneaton that had been hidden underneath carpet tiles and was full of carpet adhesive that would not budge! Our customer called us hoping we could remove the carpet adhesive and seal the concrete to make it look great again! Luckily for our customer they had come to the right place! Our specialist concrete team knew exactly what to do in order to bring the floor back to a great condition again! We agreed on a quotation and got the job booked in as soon as we could! 

We arrived on site and wasted no time in applying a solvent stripping solution to melt and remove the carpet adhesive that was being stubborn to remove. We left the solution on the concrete for around 30-45 minutes then started to deep clean the floor using our high end rotary machine with diamond brushes/pads in order to clean & remove the adhesive. Once the cleaning was completed, we rinsed the floor thoroughly using our wet vac system and dried the floor out ready to be sealed when we return the next day.

We returned the next day and the floor had fully dried out and we began applying our solvent sealant which not only protects the concrete floor but we also added a colour tint to the sealant to achieve a nice consistent grey finish. Our customer was over the moon with the results and couldn’t believe we had managed to remove all of the carpet adhesive. Take a look at our gallery to see more of our concrete work!
